History of Consumers Builders Supply Co Lorain Ohio
Consumers Builders Supply Co of Lorain Ohio goes back to 1904, though it is unknown if they used the now abandoned location of Washington Ave. when it was founded. By 1969 they were using the location at 13th and Washington Ave. The company specializes in Concrete, bricks and other building materials, it is unknown when they abandoned there location at Washington Ave. though according to Google maps street view activity was still active until at least 2013. After becoming abandoned it became a hotspot for kids in the neighborhood to climb up the conveyor belt and treat the facility as a playground, many calls to the police from concerned neighbors likely lead to the May 2025 demolition of the facility.

Recollection from the author
Consumers Builders Supply Co was a very basic exploration and had nothing really of note, most of the complex was storage sheds full of random assortments of junk. Some vintage stuff was cool to see like the old computer like system or the tanks but overall it was a boring exploration.
